Facilities Services is now hiring for winter and spring seasonal outdoor maintenance workers to assist with snow removal, and maintain lawns, shrubs and flowerbeds. General knowledge, skills, and abilities to operate and maintain grounds equipment. Must be capable of manual labor. Previous groundskeeper and snow removal experience desired. Applicant must possess an unrestricted Alaska driver's license. This is a great opportunity for outdoor, seasonal employment. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and filled as positions become available.
Duties include: Maintain lawns, shrubs, flowerbeds, start winter prep work; operate grounds equipment and machinery. Perform campus plowing, shoveling, salting, and sanding duties.
