Carver Construction is a General Contractor located in Juneau/Douglas, and we are currently searching for a new office manager.
Requirements
We are seeking an office manager to work in our office, located in Juneau/Douglas, Alaska. The ideal candidate is local to Juneau/SE Alaska, with good computer skills (Apple), is familiar with Microsoft Office/365/Outlook, highly organized with good communication skills, is adaptable/trainable/flexible, has a good working knowledge of the construction industry in general, and is dependable and highly trustworthy.
Prior experience in office management is required, and additional experience and knowledge of construction is highly desirable.
The office manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including (but not limited to)
Processing Invoices
Paying Bills
Coordinating with our Bookkeeper, Accountants, Agents, etc
Answering Phones
Monitoring Multiple Email Accounts
Processing Payroll
Scheduling
Setting Up and Monitoring Vendor Accounts
Tracking Income and Expenses
Managing and Filing Documents
Checking Mail
Preparing Statements
Resolving Human Resource Issues
And many other administrative tasks necessary to keep the company running smoothly.
Experience using Quickbooks/QBO, and RedTeam (our Project Management Software) is not required, but would be useful as well.
