POSITION SUMMARY
The Alaskan Dames Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing daily transactions and supports day to day operations of sales and consignment duties. This is a Full-Time Permanent Position.
MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets and interact with customers in a friendly manner - even if they arenât friendly
Process sales at the cash register and accept multiple forms of payment - and be cool if the card is declined
Security tag incoming items - sometimes itâs coming at you faster than you can keep up with
Do daily cleaning chores, keep the store organized and maintained - this also included windows and toilets
Assist in answering and directing phone calls - even if they arenât sure what they want to know
QUALIFICATIONS
Friendly, approachable and outgoing personality - even if you are having a bad day
Detail oriented, precise and organized - because nothing ever stays where we put it
Knowledge of basic computer skills - can you use a mouse?
Ability to multitask and learn quickly - We will ask you to do 5 things and forget and ask you to do 5 other things
Able to work weekends and holidays - yes these too. We are a small business, not the government
An eye for displaying clothing and home decor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You are expected to perform all store functions.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Will experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion
You must be able to work standing on your feet all day
You have good shoes and comfortable/stylish clothing
