Aircraft Mechanic

Alaska Aircraft Sales and Maintenance is looking to add 2 experienced APs to our team. Part 145 Repair Station specializing in repair, modification and maintenance of Cessna, Piper and deHavilland aircraft. We perform basic repair to turbine, radial, and piston engines. Customer base includes Part 135 operators, so "on call" obligations arise but are limited. Permanent position with an excellent benefit package including flexible shifts, paid holidays and vacation, relocation expense, medical insurance and 401K with match and profit share.

Minimum Qualifications

- Current AP license, 1 yr experience.

- Read technical manuals, drawings, AC 43.13

- Perform maintenance, repair or modification.

- Comply with FAA mandated drug testing program.

Duties/Responsibilities

-Perform air-frame, power-plant, propeller inspections and service actions.

-Follow manufacturer or FAA guidance.

-Perform maintenance to enable current and future airworthy status.

-Work with limited supervision and supervise mechanic apprentices.

-Communicate status of work and limitations to production.

-Courteous to customers and co-workers; promote a professional image.
