Job Description:

As a Commercial Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's growth by accurately estimating project costs, preparing competitive bids, and ensuring successful project execution. Your expertise will help us secure new contracts and maintain our reputation for excellence in the commercial painting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.

Utilize AI take-off programs to accurately measure and quantify materials and labor requirements.

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial painting projects.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.

Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.

Assist in the development and submission of competitive bids and proposals.

Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to execution.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator in the painting contracting industry.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.

Expertise with AI take-off programs and estimating software.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
