Description:
Processes invoices and performs other accounts payable related duties as assigned. Interacts with vendors regarding invoice processing questions.
Process all accounts payable and related accounts payable functions in compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures.
60% of their time will be:
Opens, audit blocks, logs and codes invoices with appropriate vendor numbers and vendor IDs
Matches appropriate purchase orders to invoices and distributes remaining invoices to appropriate directors or administrators for approval
Keys all invoices, check requests and expense reports in a timely manner.
30% of their time will be:
Works with vendors and department Managers to help resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely manner.
Reconciles the outstanding RNI reports to vendor statement on a bi-weekly basis.
Maintains appropriate vendor and account payable files.
10% of their time will be:
Maintains appropriate 1099 information and reviews 1099 reports and corrects as necessary.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years working within an accounting department, 2 of those years need to be within an AP department
Experience processing high volumes of invoices related to accounts payable - at least 200 a day
Experience with the 3 way match process
Must have a high school diploma or GED to be a full time employee of Abrazo
