The Space, Imaging & Microelectronics (SIM) Finance Team has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead within the RVS Product Area. SIM is a SSBU within the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) SBU of Raytheon.This is a unique and challenging FP&A role supporting the SIM FP&A lead with RVS site specific requirements. The RVS portfolio includes external and intra programs with a wide range of customers and two factories. This position requires a self-starter with demonstrated guidance and critical thinking skills with an eye for innovation and process improvement and the ability to foster precision and streamline effectiveness into all FP&A activities and deliverables.Key characteristics include proactive leadership, sense of importance, ability to initiate and propel activities to completion , creative problem solving, and excellent team collaboration.The RVS Product Area is in Goleta, CA but this position is currently designated as fully remote. However, you will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Own all financial reports, presentations, and FP&A deliverables with a focus on data integrity, completeness, analysis and timeliness.

Actively support the oversight and management of the RVS Controllable Expense and RVS CER Direct pools; including headcount projections to support RVS base assumptions.

Monitor and analyze RVS site specific Investments: Capital projects, Overhead spending, IRAD projects and NBI spending.

Monitor spending/liquidation of RVS Inventory ARs and CFRs; including approvals of monthly cost transfers related to manual inventory cost movement.

Foster efficiencies through process improvement.

Developing a team of five individuals; responsible for their performance and provide guidance regarding career development plan.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years applicable work in Financial Planning and Analysis, Program Controls or related areas of finance, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience presenting to all levels of analysts and key team members.

Prior Finance leadership experience, demonstrated experience effectively guiding/managing/developing teams.

Experience with SAP accounting system tools.

Experience the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

Budgeting and variance analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to package complex data into a format suitable for executive review.

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures.

Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processes.

Prior work experience with a USG defense contractor.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
