Manufacturing Technician

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician/Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to manage and track the movement of materials, ensuring they are where they need to be at the required time. This role involves working in a clean room environment, handling complex electro-mechanical components, and using ERP/MRP systems. The position requires working in shifts with a focus on accuracy, organization, and proactive problem-solving.Responsibilities

Manage and track the movement of material to ensure it is at the required location on time.

Register the movement of material and update its status in SAP within 24 hours of any change.

Store materials efficiently to ensure they can be quickly located and are not lost.

Physically move materials within the clean room and from the warehouse to the customer facility.

Track and register serial numbers of materials using an RF Scanner.

Allocate and transport materials using appropriate methods.

Order materials and organize transportation as needed.

Inspect tools for completeness and appropriate certifications.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tooling and kits during pickup and return processes, rejecting incomplete or inaccurate tools/kits.

Assist in defect resolution for incoming tools/kits.

Adhere to local and customer safety protocols and specific Ways of Working (WoW).

Essential Skills

Experience in material handling or a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with RF Scanners.

Basic knowledge of Excel.

Strong communication skills for pass downs and changeovers.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems or other inventory management systems.

Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a clean room environment (preferred).

Familiarity with SAP or similar complex ERP systems.

Knowledge of semiconductor or complex equipment.

Experience handling complex electro-mechanical components.

Proficiency in Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic functions.

Customer service orientation.

Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Exp. in process improvement or lean manufacturing.

Work EnvironmentThe role involves working both inside and outside a clean room environment. Shifts are 7am to 7pm Sunday to Tuesday AND alternating Wednesdays. Candidates must be comfortable being active in a bunny suit for the entire shift and performing physical labor independently and repeatedly.
