Summary of Position:
The Dishwasher is responsible for washing the dishes, pots and silverware, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding area. Will also assist the chefs and kitchen team with projects and culinary execution as needed. We are seeking individuals for both AM and PM shifts!
Essential Functions:
Wash dishes, plates, glasses, silverware, and small wares to health department standards
Clean overall kitchen, walls, floors, and stainless steel
Maintain staff restrooms as scheduled
Stock and organize plates, small wares, etc.
Other supportive functions as determined by the Chef(s).
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma preferred
Certificates or Licenses: Maricopa County Food Service Worker card/certification
Experience: Food and beverage experience preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic sanitation skills
Knowledge of dishwashing procedures and standards set by the health department
Personal Characteristics:
Behaves ethically and honestly
Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens and engages in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language (preferred)
Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review)
