JOB DESCRIPTION
Adult Internal Medicine of North Scottsdale, Shea Corridor, is looking for a full time, upbeat, Certified Medical assistant, to join our great team of six. We have wonderful patients and our patients truly appreciate us. Our Practice is located on 92nd and Shea on the Honor Health Campus (formally Scottsdale HealthCare). This is a NON-SMOKING campus.

This is a unique opportunity for someone that has strong back office and front office experience and a self starter.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Certified Medical Assistant. Approximately three years, recent, back office experience Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance a big plus.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Detailed and accurate chart prep and data entry
Familiar with electronic medical records and scanning
EKG's and monitor placement
Confident blood drawing and vaccine immunization skills
Prescription authorizations
Well spoken on the phone
Electronic appointment scheduling
Medicare verification
Salary negotiable (depending on experience) PLUS medical/dental insurance, sick and vacation time, uniform allowance and a TRADITIONAL PENSION PLAN
