We currently have two schedules available: Wednesday-Saturday, 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday-Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose machine malfunctions, determine repair needs, and report issues to supervisors. Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild equipment parts, ensuring proper operation through assembly and testing. Maintain, lubricate, clean, and sometimes paint machines. Install or recharge batteries for battery-powered equipment. Utilize knowledge of ARC, MIG, OXY/ACETYLENE, and PLASMA welding for various welding and cutting tasks. Perform basic electrical tasks, troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, and evaluate system-critical devices. Use the Maximo system to monitor and document equipment usage and replacements. Conduct preventive maintenance on power lift equipment, as well as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems in the facility.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred; required for all ASRS Maintenance positions plus the following step requirements for level.
Operate shop tools such as grinders, drill presses, cutting torches, and welding machines to repair or join metal parts. Adhere to all maintenance safety practices and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Frequently reach heights of 31-77 inches. Listen to, decipher, and respond to breakdown notices and assignments over a hand-held radio to ensure optimal mechanical operation of equipment.
Level 1 requires six months of commercial or industrial maintenance related experience
Level II requires two years of commercial or industrial maintenance related experience
Level II requires five years related experience or equivalent combination in mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance in a distribution center or industrial environment targeting one or more of the following: material handling equipment, power lift equipment, electronic / electrical installation and equipment diagnosis, or facilities maintenance.
