Sierra Verde Framing, LLC is looking for an experienced residential frame estimator to help provide project estimates and support field operations. We provide frame services for new residential construction, residential remodels, and light commercial construction.
Responsibilities:
Create plan specific labor and material estimates based on project documents and specifications.
Continue to build and maintain relationships with customer purchasing teams.
Communicate and work with field operations team to reduce cost and material waste.
Walk work to improve project material takeoffs.
Ensure proper builder options and specifications are created on internal systems.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures
Experience with Planswift estimating and takeoff software
2 plus years of frame estimator experience
Residential frame knowledge
Understanding of piece pay system
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
Excellent organizational
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Aptitude in math
Problem-solving abilities
Excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
