Grand Pet Hotel is looking for 2 new team members to join our team of pet lovers. If you love caring for and being surrounded by dogs and cats and working together with great people - this might be the place for you.
While we give preference to those with work experience with dogs & cats, our leads can train & get you up to speed quickly for those who haven't worked in our field.
Both part-time (20-30 hrs weekly) and full-time (40 hrs weekly) shifts available, with the ideal candidate having work schedule flexibility to work early mornings, and some weekends.
The NIGHT SHIFT role will ramp to full-time, and involves working a shift that is either: A) 12 midnight until 8am (8 hrs), or B) 5pm until 7am (14 hrs). The night shift is responsible for feeding our pet customers, administering medication, taking the dogs outside to potty, and some facility cleaning.
The FRONT DESK role will be part-time, and is a shift that works 7am until 5pm (10 hrs) a few days each week. This position is responsible for heavy customer contact, in-person and over the phone. They answer questions, do pet guest check-ins, check-outs and payments, monitor our phones, and work with our customer computer system.

Work responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring pets in play areas
- Guiding & leading pets from suites to play areas
- Feeding & watering pets, and administering medication
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Helping keep pet play areas and overnight pet suites clean, safe & healthy
- May help bathe dogs, trim nails, etc. depending on interest & skill level
- Greeting & assisting pet parent customers checking in and out
- Using the customer computer system to update records, make reservations, and calculate payments
Job Requirements:
- Ability to accurately and caringly perform pet handling and care techniques
- Ability to clean suites and pet play areas
- Ability to interact with customers in a genuine, caring way
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to complete daily assignments independently with minimum oversight
- Ability to accurately update pet records
- Physical ability to handle and restrain animals safely; with the ability to lift 40 lbs
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule for the first few weeks
