Witherow Construction is looking for a motivated, outgoing individual to help grow our presence in the construction industry by building relationships with general contracting companies throughout the area.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meeting new people, starting conversations from scratch, and opening doors where we don’t yet have a presence.
About the Role:
As our Business Development Lead Generator, you'll be visiting general contracting companies — often as cold calls — to introduce Witherow Construction and begin building relationships with their teams. Your goal is to get us noticed, remembered, and eventually included in their upcoming bid opportunities.
You will be focused on office visits and face-to-face networking with staff like estimators, project managers, office managers, and coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cold-call visits to construction companies to introduce our services
Build rapport and relationships with internal staff (PMs, estimators, coordinators, etc.)
Look for opportunities to position Witherow Construction for future project bids
Provide regular updates to our internal team on contacts made and progress
Represent Witherow Construction in a professional and friendly manner
What We're Looking For:
Confident and personable with strong communication skills
Comfortable making cold introductions and walking into unfamiliar offices
Motivated, self-directed, and reliable
Experience in construction or related industries is helpful but not required
Must have reliable transportation with a valid Driver's License and a presentable, professional appearance
You must be authorized to work in the United States. Witherow Construction utilizes E-Verify
