We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machining Center Operators to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: To set up and operate CNC Machining Centers (CNC Mills). A minimum of two years of on-the-job training and/or experience with a thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles, and operations with two years minimum experience with CNC Operating. The ability to read dimensional mechanical drawings or blueprints, understanding of geometric tolerancing, use of shop mathematics, and the use of precision measuring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and effectively operate your machine.
Must be capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously.
Ability to establish and maintain production standards.
Check and verify results of the machining operation, using the necessary measuring instruments. Communicate any problems or suggestions to your supervisor.
Work from MOTs, MIR, sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on your machine.
Practice safe working habits and maintain a clean working environment.
Have working knowledge of how to make wear and height offsets within the control.
Have a solid understanding of FANUC Controls.
Requirements:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to communicate with supervisors and other employees.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and/or verbal instructions.
The ability to deal effectively with problems
The physical ability to stand, reach, lift (30 pounds maximum), and able to concentrate on the job at hand.
Adequate vision to see and check the work they are doing.
