East Valley Manufacturer in Gilbert looking for an experienced CNC Set-Up / Operator capable of Editing Programs, Set-Up, and Operating CNC vertical mills and/or CNC Lathes in a production environment.
Must be able to setup and operate CNC machines for optimized operation.
Run and inspect parts.
Edit programs as needed to optimize cycle times.
Edit programs and set-up with consideration to cutter comps, surface finish, and cycle time.
Install tooling required for job and ensure tools are in good working condition
Safely & efficiently set up machine & workstation for running parts including program installation & tool placement.
Measure dimensions of first article to ensure proper set up.
Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition of job from shift to shift.
Experience with 3 and 4 axis vertical and horizontal mill.
Experience with CNC lathe with Y axis.
