Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently & have a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to identify issues & troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electric industrial motors, chain drives, bearings, and conveyor belts.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and supervisors
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Electrical skills to work on wiring, circuits, and logic controllers
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics
- Experience using an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits
- Customer service skills to interact with employees regarding maintenance needs
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience fabricating parts using welding techniques
- Familiarity with supervising contractors during maintenance activities

Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
