Assist with the smooth running of our manufacturing and packaging lines by monitoring, inspecting, and assembling machinery, assisting with change overs, and performing routine maintenance.
● Proficient to perform all activities described for Senior Set Up Mechanic.
● Use of Voltmeter to check continuity, fuses.
● Turn ON/OFF all equipment and air compressors when starting, shutting down plant operations.
● Set up powder line, all fill machine, check weigher, capper, labeler, heat tunnel and Videojet.
● Turn ON/OFF Steam tunnel.
● Set up/adjust set-up fillers to optimize vibration, feeding, speed.
● Troubleshoot and set up the capper machine, optimize operation.
● Set up labeler, resolve minor issues of wrinkles, correct label placement, etc.
● Set up heat tunnel temperature and induction sealer.
● Resolve daily operation issues with desiccant machine, cotton machine, capper, labeler, neck band.
● Able to identify and request ordering of machine parts.
● Show a desire and willingness to learn and succeed.
● Complete all required training activities.
● Demonstrate a commitment to the organization by maintaining regular, on-site attendance, act in a reliable manner and follow through on responsibilities.
● Other duties as assigned.
● Proficient to perform all activities described for Set Up Mechanic.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Experience working with packaging line machinery.
● Prior Set Up and/ or Mechanic experience
● Ensure all GMP guidelines are adhered to, wear PPE, follow biohazard safety standards
● Lifting, pushing, and pulling products.
● Ability to handle 20-25 lbs. on a frequent basis from floor to chest high.
● Standing for extended periods of time.
● Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish.)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
