Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate massage therapist to provide a variety of therapeutic massage services. You will work with clients to assess their needs and provide individualized treatments, ensuring a high standard of service that leaves clients feeling refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, , aromatherapy, and other modalities.
Consult with clients to assess their massage needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for both clients and staff.
Ensure proper draping and a professional approach to every session.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Stay current with massage therapy techniques and trends, with opportunities for further training.
Work with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the spa.
Requirements:
Valid state certification or licensure as a massage therapist (LMT or equivalent).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of various massage techniques and their benefits.
Ability to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in specialized massage modalities (e.g., prenatal, sports, reflexology, cupping, Lymphatic Drainage, Etc.)
Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting.
Basic knowledge of aromatherapy or spa treatments.
