Falcon Park Apartments is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all
maintenance operations at a newly constructed 192-unit affordable housing community in Phoenix,
Arizona. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, knowledge of
affordable housing standards, and the ability to maintain a high-quality living environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform day-to-day maintenance operations for a 192-unit multifamily community
- Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and unit turns
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems
- Ensure timely preparation of vacant units in compliance with affordable housing standards
- Maintain compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and local housing authority requirements
- Coordinate vendors, inspections, warranties, and capital repairs as needed
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call rotation
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and inventory
- Ensure property grounds, common areas, and building systems are well maintained
- Provide professional, respectful service to residents and collaborate closely with site management
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification (Universal preferred)
- HVAC Certification
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in multifamily property management
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry
- Experience working with affordable housing or regulated properties
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and supervise maintenance activities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LIHTC, HUD, or other affordable housing programs
- Experience with newly constructed or lease-up communities
- Supervisory or lead maintenance experience
- Strong documentation and inspection-readiness skills
