The Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Property Maintenance Supervisor & Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines property maintenance oversight with construction coordination. The position is part-time, with flexible hours that can be scheduled around other commitments. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and comfortable moving between existing property management needs and active construction projects.
Responsibilities
Property Maintenance
Assess and diagnose maintenance issues in existing multifamily units.
Coordinate, schedule, and oversee repair and maintenance work.
Obtain bids, compare pricing, and ensure cost-effective, timely solutions.
Work with tenants and property managers to minimize disruption during repairs.
Construction Supervision
Assist with the coordination of subcontractors and trades for new construction projects.
Manage scheduling, deliveries, and installation of building materials.
Monitor construction sites to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and codes.
Support project managers in keeping projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Experience in property maintenance, construction supervision, or a related field.
Must be located reasonably close to the projects in Biltmore/Arcadia Lite area since frequent site visits are required.
Ability to accurately scope and price out maintenance repairs.
Familiarity with residential construction methods, subcontractor management, and materials procurement for new construction.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, hands-on team.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Having a truck or SUV with trailer hitch to help with material procurement a plus.
