Position Summary
The Residential Mirror, Shower Door & Glass Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for accurately quoting residential framed and frameless shower enclosures, custom mirrors, custom glass shelving, glass railing and more for both new construction and remodel projects. This role serves as a vital link between the builder, field team, and office—ensuring each quote is clear, complete, and buildable. The ideal candidate combines attention to detail with strong plan-reading skills and field awareness, helping us deliver quality work, win more jobs, and reduce costly rework in the field.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Review construction plans, measurements, and field notes for residential projects (new builds and remodels)
Prepare accurate takeoffs and estimates for framed and frameless shower enclosures, custom mirrors, custom glass shelving, glass railing and more.
Communicate with builders, superintendents, and internal field teams to clarify scope and ensure alignment
Work closely with our fabrication and installation teams to provide practical and buildable solutions
Enter and manage estimates in our project management system (Glazier)
Ordering of materials and coordination with vendors to ensure product compatibility and availability
Update and track proposal status; follow up on outstanding quotes as needed
Participate in job walks or site visits when required
What You Bring to the Table
2+ years of estimating experience in residential glass, commercial glass, shower doors, or a related trade (construction, millwork, cabinetry, etc.)
Strong understanding of how to read residential construction plans
Comfort with field measuring and understanding jobsite conditions
Familiarity with shower enclosure and mirror hardware systems (CRL, Portals, etc.) is a plus
High attention to detail and accuracy—this is a precision role
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with Excel, email, and estimating software
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
