Waste Water Treatment Operator / Property Maintenance
Department: Property Maintenance
Reports to: Property Maintenance Manager
Compensation: $22/hr. plus full benefit package
General Purpose:
Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including wastewater treatment plant, clubhouse, public spaces, swimming pool, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.
Essential Duties:
Basic knowledge of a Waste Water Treatment Plant. Responsible for taking daily readings and completing daily process for the plant. Further education is available for qualified applicant.
Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical and structural.
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior and interior areas of the facility.
Daily janitorial responsibilities to include cleaning restrooms and stocking supplies.
Maintains pool facility, including but not limited to: daily cleaning of pool, balancing chemicals, cleanliness of restrooms, cleaning and organizing the pool deck.
Willing to work weekends, holidays and on-call shifts and have regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience Preferred:
High School diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels,
crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne
particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Qualifications:
Ability to learn and run golf course equipment and other small tools. (weed eaters, hand tools)
Good attitude and ability to work well with others.
