The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a “fun” place to work.Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all internal and external guests/contractsLead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followedHandle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areasActively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetingsEnsure all colleagues are informed daily about priorities in the departmentEstablish and maintain constructive, supportive and professional colleague relationshipsWorking knowledge of financial reporting structures (budgets, labor, productivity, revenue, expenses)Responsible for the recruitment, training and ongoing performance management of all Laundry/Valet colleaguesSupervises and evaluates the work of laundry, linen, sewing room and valet employees; effectively recommends personnel actions related to selection, disciplinary procedures, performance, leaves of absence, grievances, work schedules and assignments, and administers personnel and related policies and proceduresAssist in balancing operational, administrative and Colleague needsReport necessary maintenance items in a timely manner and maintain open communication with Engineering teamFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assigned
