Restaurant Manager – Penca Restaurante

Penca, located in the heart of downtown Tucson, has an immediate opening for an experienced Restaurant Manager with a background in casual upscale dining.
Our scratch kitchen focuses on the vibrant cuisine of Central Mexico, complemented by a Mexico-focused bar program featuring a thoughtful selection of spirits and wines. We also offer a well-curated list of world and natural wines.
Our beautiful restaurant seats 110 guests, including our inviting patio. We take pride in our location, our team, and our loyal guests.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a manager with strong service standards and a deep understanding of all the elements that make a restaurant successful.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations
Manage costing, inventory controls, and financial performance
Participate in menu planning in collaboration with our culinary team
Maintain and optimize POS systems and scheduling
Support marketing efforts and community engagement
Foster a team-oriented environment focused on hospitality and efficiency
Qualifications:
Proven management experience in a similar style and size restaurant
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
You’ll work closely with our Hospitality Director, who focuses on service standards, events, and wine education.
