We are searching for an in-home caregiver for our grandparent who is lively and needs minimal supports on the East side of Tucson. Our part-time caregiver position is needed to assist a vibrant 90-year-old who is independent but needs support with appointments, light housekeeping, and meal preparation in their own home.
Position: Part-Time Caregiver
Location: East Tucson
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with Doctor’s Appointments: Provide transportation and support during medical appointments.
2. Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including tasks such as tidying up, dusting, and light cleaning.
3. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and delicious meals, adhering to any dietary requirements or preferences.
4. Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License: A current and valid driver’s license is required for transportation duties.
Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our client.
Resume: A current resume is required for all applicants, detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in care giving or related fields is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
Ability to handle light household tasks and meal preparation.
Dependability and punctuality are essential.
