Award winning, locally owned and operated SENIOR HOME CARE OF TUCSON is seeking reliable individuals to join our outstanding team of attentive, friendly, compassionate Caregivers to provide outstanding in-home care for seniors. This is a safety-sensitive position.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:
Morning shifts between 7am -11am / 8am-12pm / 9am-1pm
Afternoon/Evenings shifts between 1 pm – 5pm / 2pm-6pm / 5pm-9pm
Overnights 7pm-7am
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Starting pay $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
$3.00 per hour additional pay for weekend shifts
Weekly pay, direct deposit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide customized care to seniors in the comfort of their home
Activities of daily living & Monitor client safety
Provide companionship and conversation
Help clients with mobility, and physical therapy exercises as appropriate
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
Plan and prepare meals
Provide medication reminders
Provide transportation to and from appointments
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance (required)
Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
Must be willing to drive to multiple locations around the greater Tucson Metro area to provide care to clients in their home
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (preferred)
Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care (preferred)
Ability to pass drug test – SHC is a Drug Free Workplace (required)
Ability to pass background check and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance (required)
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (required)
Current TB Test (required)
