Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to Read and Write English
Experience reading blueprint drawings and work instructions.
Computer literate
Capable of bending, squatting, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, and handle and lifting objects up to 50lbs
Job Duties:
Capable of using measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers, depth micrometers along with other measuring devices. Understand tool use such as drill, reamers, boring bores, and other machine tools. Capable of understanding MIL-SPEC where required. Visualize machining to be done, dimensions of parts and permissible tolerances. Make required setups for jobs. Make all required dimension checks to ensure quality. Obtain all required tooling for jobs as directed by his/her supervisor. Inspect tool for defects upon job completion. Tag & mark for proper tool sharpening Assists with de-burring, drilling, and tapping of components.
Completes required paperwork.
