Office Assistant Technical & Experience Requirements

1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.

Experience in customer service, handling emails and telephone calls professionally.

Ability to schedule and coordinate jobs, ensuring work requests are accepted/rejected within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills, including maintaining accurate records in Housecall Pro (HCP), avoiding duplicates, and tracking job progress.

Attention to detail, particularly in handling work orders, ensuring correct documentation is attached, and verifying required approvals.

Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, responding to customer inquiries efficiently.

Ability to supervise and support technicians, assisting with on-site issues and escalating problems when necessary.

Experience using Housecall Pro (HCP) or similar field service management software to manage job updates, schedule work, and process necessary documentation is preferred.

Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with email management, data entry, and navigating business-related software.

Industry experience in construction or maintenance is highly preferred.

Typing speed of at least 45 WPM to ensure efficient data entry and communication.

Experience with scheduling and dispatching to coordinate job assignments effectively.

Full-time availability—part-time or temporary candidates will not be considered.
