Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with other construction team members to ensure that concrete form work is aligned with project schedules and timelines.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site for yourself and ALL crew members.
- Ensure and maintain clean and organized jobsites.
- Overseeing all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
- Aiming for the highest quality and precision in work.
- Resolving problems that may affect project quality and completion.
- Delegating tasks to concrete laborers and providing overall guidance.
- Maintaining accurate records of the number of hours worked and the number of materials used.
- Inspecting concrete after the formwork and shoring has been removed.
- Instruct concrete laborers on how to correct defects and/or concrete roughness.
- Some weekend work may be required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and other trades in a professional manner.
- Complete daily report including hours spent at a job site, tasks completed, and any issues that arise. Notate when employees call out or are tardy.
- Accurate reporting of field operations to office.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Perform manual work required (not a desk job).
Experience, Certifications, and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a foreman.
- Be able to operate small equipment, including but not limited to drills, skid steer, circular saw, power trowels, compactor, laser, etc.
- Required to obtain the following certifications during employment: OSHA 30, Skid Steer Operator, and CPR Certification.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a clean driving record and provide a 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
