Work collaboratively with business partners to drive strategy execution for high priority, high impact initiatives by reporting on key financial and strategic KPIs, managing the progress of cross-functional initiatives, and breaking down barriers to accelerate pace
Shape development of executive leadership content for high profile meetings (e.g., Board of Directors, Executive Council, investment community)
Drive prioritization and tradeoffs across strategic portfolio of initiatives, products, and services with business, product, and technology leaders
Frame and develop complex analysis to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas
Perform capability assessments and synergy analysis to support M&A activity and strategic partnership discussions
Develop strategic fact bases and benchmarking, considering disruptive/ emerging technologies, business models, and macro issues to inform Executive level prioritization and decision making
Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
You'll make an impact by:
Establish strategic clarity and communicate the Enterprise Strategy
Make connections between dispersed initiatives from the business to ensure synergies, reduce duplication, and improve information flow
Organizing the flow of initiatives across leadership team meetings, track actionable follow-ups, and drive accountability to deliver objectives
Build strong rapport with stakeholders across the business who you will work with to drive strategy execution
Hold business leaders accountable to deploy strategic advancements on time, on budget while achieving measurable milestones, this includes helping run various leadership meetings to drive accountability
Prepare presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations; participating in business case presentations to executive management
Drive the development of long-term strategic financial planning and support annual operating planning across the business by partnering with different segments and markets to understand macro impacts, surface strategic initiatives, and assess overall enterprise goals
Work across the enterprise to identify and create input and output metrics to measure strategy execution and detect anomalies
Collaborate with leadership to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives
Provide strategic input for business decisions by overseeing the production of complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business intelligence, strategy, data science, finance, or related area and 7 years' experience in strategic finance, competitive intelligence, consulting, market research, data analytics, or related area in a high-growth technology sector. OR 9 years' experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, competitive intelligence, consulting, market research, data analytics, or related field in a high growth technology sector.
MBA highly preferred
4+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
4+ years of experience of strategic long term forecasting and reporting
4+ years of experience analyzing data and interpreting results
Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
Experience in Supply Chain, Retail, Merchandising Planning and / or Finance
Experience working in Fortune 100 finance
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
Comfort with ambiguity
