Job DescriptionThe Liability Resolution Administrator analyzes and manages risk management issues by identifying, measuring, and making decisions on operational or enterprise risks for the corporation.Responsibilities
Adjust reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations to management.
Prepare reports for management.
Supervise independent adjusters and defense attorneys.
Subrogate damages incurred by company from appropriate third party.
Minimize company's liability exposure.
Determine applicable tort law.
Communicate with outside vendors, attorneys, and claimants.
Negotiate settlements.
Evaluate, analyze, and assess the product of liability investigations.
Investigate and process liability claims in multiple jurisdictions which can range from property damage to bodily injury.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Available for after-hours call handling.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferred
3 years experience in casualty and/or workers' compensation claims
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required
Must be a self-starter, capable of working with others to ensure satisfactory results, detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple claims from multiple jurisdictions, and direct the investigation of serious accidents and injuries.

Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
This is a salary position paid biweekly.
