The Quotations Coordinator- Bilingual Spanish/English manages a variety of shipments and addresses customer concerns. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios. This position is specific for shipments within the Mexican-American and offshore markets.Your contribution may include:
Provide accurate and timely information on the entire suite of logistics solutions offered by ArcBest.
Learn and adhere to internal work processes and standard operating procedures.
Provide quotes, schedule shipments, and communicate shipment requirements to local service centers.
Negotiate freight bill reductions for guaranteed time critical service failures.
Evaluate freight bill discrepancies and adjust charges as needed.
Resolve and manage complex transit problems.
Assist internal and external customers by providing detailed information and creative solutions to various logistical concerns.
Engage internal and external ArcBest customers through phone calls and multiple inboxes.
Create BOLs and provide shipment-specific documentation.
Communicate shipment status to both internal and external customers.
Maintain communication to ensure freight delivers within the customer's expectations.
Demonstrate mastery of multiple complex computer programs.
Initiate recovery for at-risk freight and communicate delivery changes as necessary.
Coordinate and manage projects, provide customer reports and audits as required.
Maintain a positive attitude in an intense environment.
Must understand when to work with a sense of urgency and possess the ability to work under pressure.
Must be very detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment which focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience.

Understand and follow Import/Export procedures.
Building relationships with Mexican carriers to provide accurate information to customers.
Communicate with brokers and freight forwarders regarding statuses on shipments.

As a Quotations Coordinator- Bilingual Spanish/English, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, with irregular and weekend hours that may occur depending on workload.Ready to apply?
