About the RoleWe are seeking a Group Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for two of Vestcom's highest-priority growth areas: In-Store Digital Media and Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL). This role is responsible for driving business outcomes across both product lines, leading a team of product managers, and partnering closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver products that create measurable value for retailers and brands.The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on discovery practices, maintaining direct relationships with customers while coaching their team to do the same. This is a high-visibility role at the center of Vestcom's transformation from paper-based solutions to digital retail media, representing Vestcom not only to customers but also to partners, industry peers, and the press.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & OutcomesOwn product vision and roadmap for In-Store Digital Media and ESL product lines, with accountability for business outcomes including retailer adoption, brand revenue, and margin performanceDefine and track success metrics that connect product initiatives to business results, not just feature deliveryMake prioritization decisions based on customer value and business impact, adjusting course as you learn what worksIdentify market adjacencies that expand the addressable market and develop effective product strategies to pursue themCustomer Discovery & ValidationConduct ongoing customer research, including weekly conversations with retailers, brands, and store operations teamsIdentify customer problems and opportunities through direct engagement, translating insights into product strategyDesign and run experiments to validate product hypotheses before committing significant engineering resourcesBuild evidence-based business cases for new initiatives, including market sizing and competitive positioningTeam LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop product managers, with emphasis on building discovery capabilities and strategic thinkingFoster a team culture focused on learning and outcomes rather than output volumeCreate clarity on goals and priorities while giving team members autonomy in how they achieve resultsAdvance product management rigor and productivity across the teamCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with engineering and design as part of integrated product teams, collaborating on solutions rather than handing off requirementsWork with sales, marketing, and customer success on go-to-market strategy, positioning, and sales enablementPartner with the commercial team to help drive client adoption of new productsCommunicate product strategy, progress, and learnings to executive leadership and stakeholders
