OverviewAs our Nutritional Service Supervisor at CHI St. Vincent, you will directly interact with patients and visitors everyday. You will personally ensure all dining areas are safely sanitized, well-stocked, and food is appropriately prepared. You understand most guests at our facility are dining with us for a reason and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.Every day you will serve the patients, families and staff nutritious food that promotes health and healing to the body. You will be expected to set up trays for the hospital patients, following posted menus requests from the patient room service program while taking individual likes and dislikes into account. You will also be collecting dirty trays and dishes from the patient care areas and cleaning dishes in an automatic dishwasher and returning these dishes in the proper storage areasTo be successful in this role, you must enjoy helping others and enjoy a face-paced, fun work environment!CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Ensures all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for the safety of employees, patients, and guests

Exhibits high degree knowledge in food preparation and food production

Accurately portions meals and beverages including attention to detail concerning dietary restrictions

Supports team members in all areas of food services including cashier, stocking, cleaning, tray service, dishwashing, food storage, etc

Qualifications

Four (4) years of experience in food services; two (2) years of hospital nutrition experience.

Associate of Arts degree

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required if they are the highest ranking leader at the facility. If not currently certified, certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire; unless otherwise required by State or local health code.

Current certification as a ServSafe© Food Protection Manager. Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe© Allergen certifications.

Pay Range$18.74 - $25.77 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
