Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Analyst in our Service industry team located in Agoura Hills, California, 91301, United States. As a Billing Analyst, you will be tasked with ensuring that all sales and orders are correctly billed and paid for, maintaining the quality of customer service, and looking for improvement opportunities on a continuous basis.Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payments, eliminating billing issues and discrepancies Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders Act on discrepancies in weekly/monthly billing reconciliations and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them Conduct extensive and continual monitoring and auditing of data reporting, escalating any concerns if necessary Review elements of contract documents associated with the compensation grid to verify that all billing/payment related changes are executed correctly and promptly Support the development of collaborative solutions to resolve daily challenges, including working under tight, multiple deadlines Assist the accounting team during the month-end close process Process and maintain accurate records of customer credit applications Review and provide detailed variance analysis of profit and loss statements Create and analyze reports to identify key areas for process improvement Keep financial information confidential to ensure secure operations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Functions, with a solid understanding of general financial principles and their application in a corporate setting Experience in Auditing, demonstrating the ability to scrutinize financial records and transactions for accuracy and compliance Familiarity with Billing Functions, showcasing the capability to generate, send, and track invoices, along with handling billing queries Advanced skills in Excel Formulas, aiding in efficient data analysis and reporting A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent industry experience Strong analytical skills, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in performing tasks Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, colleagues, and management Ability to work in a team environment, displaying excellent interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, policies, and regulations.
