THE ROLE
We are looking for a Master Data Management Architect with expertise in Customer Master Data to work in a consulting capacity for our clients in the Medical Device sector. As an MDM Data Architect, you will bring your expertise in designing Entity Relationship Models for Customer data by leveraging data attributes from multiple data sources. You will be an expert in organizing the data attributes and creating effective Data Models for Customer related data across the enterprise. You will have expertise in creating the data management Architecture, Data Quality and Data Governance aspects of the future state data design. You must be an expert in Data Transformation initiatives across Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Validation and Data Standardization. Technology experience will include commonly used MDM tools such as Informatica, Reltio, Tibco, IBM to help organizations manage their data landscape including ETL, Data Integration, Data Transformation and establishing standards for Data Models. Your knowledge of Master Data Management including architecting end to end MDM solutions will be key to your success in this role.

YOU WILL

• Have demonstrated experience with Data Architecture development for Master Data Management solutions across multiple entities and driving Data Standardization programs.
• Designed Entity Relationship Models for Customer data in a Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Healthcare industry.
• Work with client team members to help them understand the value of data standardization and influence them to implement MDM concepts with the appropriate technologies.
• Be a champion to drive creation and utilization of the Golden Dataset with the necessary data quality controls and governance in the data journey from raw data to insights.
• Have the ability to align business requirements and experience in applying MDM concepts to addressing business problems related to data models and standards.
• Have the techno functional acumen to align business requirements and map them to technical specifications and vice versa.
• Have expertise with technical MDM tools such as Informatica, Reltio, Atacama or IBM technologies related to big data standardization.
• Understand database concepts and core database functionality to help with data cleansing routings such as de-duping, data validation, data transformation.
• Be a strong communicator with ability to lead client workshop sessions with large teams and keep the stakeholders engaged with your MDM acumen.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience working on data related initiatives handling functional and technical requirements.
• At least 3+ years specifically focused on Master Data Management initiatives such as Data Architecture, Data Standardization, Data Quality.
• Hands on experience with MDM configuration tools such as Informatica, Reltio etc. and project experience of implementing data management solutions to create master data optimization solutions.
• On boarded new systems into an MDM solution based on party data models and/or implemented data sharing solutions such as Customer 360 etc.
• Experience working on Data Governance initiatives and utilized Best Practices for Data Discovery/Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Analysis and implementing controls on data access and data sharing.
• Worked on implementing new data sources into the MDM framework including techniques like data mapping, data profiling, and tagging.
• Led working sessions and/or workshops with data citizens to help them understand the value of MDM.
• Worked with onboarding tools like Jira and Confluence to handle release management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems with a master’s degree (preferred).
