Description We are offering a contract for an Entry Level Accountant position based in Aliso Viejo, California. In this role, you will be joining a team that focuses on accounting functions within the renewable energy/commercial solar industry. Responsibilities: Conducting the efficient and precise processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions. Assisting in the maintenance of the general ledger and inputting invoices into the accounting system. Ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records and processing customer credit applications. Collaborating on cross-training activities to enhance team flexibility and ensure smooth operations. Utilizing software systems for accounting purposes, including Microsoft Excel and NetSuite. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Contributing to a positive, growth-oriented work environment alongside the VP of Finance, Controller, and Accounting Clerk.Requirements Applicant must hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. No prior experience required, making it an ideal position for entry-level candidates. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Familiarity with various Accounting Functions is beneficial. Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Table functions, is required. Experience with NetSuite software is a plus. Understanding of General Ledger functions is important. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are key prerequisites. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently is necessary.
