We believe that mastering our craft is a lifelong endeavor, and we are dedicated to fostering ongoing growth.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :Collaborate and consult with nurse practitioners and / or physician assistants; collaboration may be through in-person meetings, chart review, telephone conference, or any other reasonable manner agreed upon or the judgment of the supervising psychiatrist and state requirementsSupervise two (2) and up to four (4) CA Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and / or Physician AssistantsThis role is remote, but may be asked to come to office in person 1-2x a yearSupervisors will NOT be asked to prescribe medications for NPs / PAs and no charting responsibilitiesMust allow us to credential them under our group on insurance panelsConduct 1-2 monthly zoom or phone meetings with Nurse Practitioners as per California Board of Nursing requirementsEDUCATION, LICENSING, AND CREDENTIALSM.D. or D.O. with completed residency training in psychiatry, with board certification in general psychiatry and board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry being a plus.Board-certified or board-eligible (within 3 years of completing residency).Possesses unrestricted CA valid permanent licenseMaintains individual Malpractice Insurance.Possesses a DEA Certificate or is in the process of obtaining it.COMPENSATION :Compensation will be dependent on the amount of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners / Physician Assistants you are supervising.We offer competitive monthly compensation for each Nurse Practitioner your supervise and offer additional monthly compensation for Board Certified Child-Adol Psychiatrists.fixed monthly rateThis position is 100% remote and is a 1099 independent contractor positionApplication Process :Interested candidates should submit a detailed resumeBecome a key part of our team at OC Psychiatry Clinic, where we place a high value on psychotherapy and medication management as an essential component of mental health treatment.
