Description We are looking for a Certified Payroll Administrator to join our client's fast-growing team in the construction industry. As a Certified Payroll Administrator, you will support the Payroll department through various tasks, including data entry, timecard reconciliation, paycheck distribution, and statement management across multiple departments.Responsibilities:
Accurate processing of union payroll and ensuring adherence to regulations
Management and maintenance of multiple projects varying in numbers
Processing payroll for a team consisting entirely of hourly workers
Generation and maintenance of union reports, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
Handling payroll duties for multiple states, predominantly in California, with occasional requirements in Washington and Idaho
Proficient use of Excel and other relevant systems for payroll processing
Managing payroll duties for two key entities within the organization
Ensuring accurate certified payroll and reporting
Utilizing extensive knowledge of DIR in payroll processing
Coordinating with the team including a director and processors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Union Payroll
Experience with payroll software is a plus.
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.
Bi-monthly payroll experience preferred.
Account reconciliation experience is highly desired.
Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Prior payroll experience is a must.
