Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. Based in Azusa, California, this role will involve a variety of tasks, ranging from receptionist duties to light accounting and HR responsibilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organized work environment and ensuring efficient communication within the team.Responsibilities: Greet visitors and clients professionally, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and ensure the reception area is clean and organized. Manage and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence effectively. Assist with the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments when necessary. Enter and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software, assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes as needed. Onboard new employees, prepare necessary paperwork, conduct orientations, and maintain employee records in compliance with company policies. Coordinate employee events and meetings, and provide support in various HR-related tasks and projects. Manage office supplies inventory and ensure it is stocked. Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, and assist in organizing company events, meetings, and trainings. Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Handle customer service duties, including answering inbound calls, managing email correspondence, and scheduling appointments. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong skills in data entry and management Experience with answering inbound and making outbound calls Proven customer service skills and experience Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent degree required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
