Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, located in Azusa, California. The primary function of this role is to provide front desk coordination, handle customer interactions, manage office supplies, and assist with various administrative tasks.Responsibilities: Greet and provide assistance to customers, vendors, and personnel Answer, screen, and direct calls on a multi-line telephone system Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages Maintain office supplies and track office equipment services and repairs Create and post engaging industry-related content on the company's social media platforms Ensure the cleanliness and order of the supply room, conference room, kitchens, and front office Assist in the preparation of special mailing and close-out packages Provide professional, tactful, and friendly customer service to vendors, customers, and office staff Maintain the calendar for the conference room Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the manager. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a receptionist role, preferably within the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems. Demonstrated customer service skills. Experience with data entry tasks. Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, clients, and visitors. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word. Experience with organizing files and maintaining a tidy workspace. Ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing multiple calendars if necessary. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new systems and procedures. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of basic office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.
