Responsibilities for thisSpeechLanguage Pathologistopportunity include, but are not limited to:
Provides Speech Therapy services to patients under the appropriate guidelinesestablished by each client location or service provider.
As requested by the client location or service provider, conducts screening of patientsin accordance with the policies of the client location or service provider to determine the need forintervention/treatment.
Evaluates patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to clients, patients, family, and other teammembers.
Establishes patient schedules in conjunction with other team members.
Develops treatment plans by identifying a needs list, including short and long-termgoals and methods to achieve identified goals.
Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members. Implementsand conducts treatment outlined in the treatment plan.
Monitors patient's response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THESPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - SLP:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency or Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
Current state licensure or license-eligible
