Job Summary:
As a Cook, you will be working in either our Employee Dining Room or one of our many restaurants throughout the park. You will be responsible for all basic food preparation, performing cooking functions, and prep production.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Late April 2024 - Late October 2024
Pay:$17.50/hr - $18.50/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation, set up, service, clean up, and restocking of cook line and appropriate prep areas.
Expected to adhere to all sanitation requirements including product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures, cooking requirements, and handling techniques.
Job duties of the position vary by location and function. Placement will be in one of the following areas - ala carte operation, employee dining operation, or a quick service operation.
Qualifications:
2 years experience in a cook position needed for senior level cook position
6 months to 1 year cook experience needed for quick service cook position
Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and service standards.
Ability to adhere to all sanitation requirements including product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures, cooking requirements, and handling techniques.
Ability to work from prep and par lists and follow standardized recipes and commit food specifications to memory.
Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely with all kitchen equipment.
Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
