WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5PM

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Assistant Branch Director assumes management responsibility under the Branch Director for the fiscal and operational activities of the home care organization and is responsible for long-term planning, organizing, directing, and staffing of the Organization.

Assistant Branch Director plans and develops new programs, recruits, and interviews management personnel and establishes procedures for measuring quality care and organizational performance.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Complete “Criminal Record Statement” (LIC 508)

Pass Live Scan Fingerprint Clearance (LIC 9163)

Complete “Personnel Record” (HCS 501)

Complete “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A)

Knowledge of all Federal, State, and local regulations governing home care practices and ability to always comply appropriately.

Basic computer knowledge, data entry, word processing.

High school diploma, no less than one year of experience with in-home care; advanced education acceptable. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare is preferred.

Experience with bookkeeping, general business, marketing, social work and/or experience in all fields required.

Must possess effective verbal/written communication skills, solid mathematical skills, strong organizational skills, and be detail oriented.

Must be self-motivated and able to perform duties such as 24-hour, 7 day a week on-call for client and or staffing emergencies.

Problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task are required.

A minimum of 1 year of sales/supervisory/lead operational experience in home care/social work is required.
