Our office is eager to hire a registered dental assistant (RDA) with experience in assisting root canals, crown preparations, and oral surgery. They must be ready for a fast paced environment and willing to take initiative. Must be bilingual, punctual, and energetic. Position is 8 hour shifts with frequent over time opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments
- Take x-rays
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment areas
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental equipment and instruments
- Familiarity with Patterson Eaglesoft and Dexis
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental team members
