We are looking for an experienced dimentia caregiver for our active 84 year old mom. She has stage 3/4 dimentia, still participates in running the household, sleeps through the night and is in great health, but can no longer live alone. We need a loving, kind, active person who can drive and wants a long-term position with a caring, involved family.
DUTIES:
24 Hour Care
Companionship
Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Hygiene Assistance
Dressing
Light Housekeeping
Hair washing and blow drying
Walks, outings, watching sports, gardening, etc.
Accompany to Doctor visits
Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Dementia Care Experience
References
Clean Driving Record
Current HCA (Home Care Aide)
Current TB Test Results
Current CPR &First Aid Certified
Drug Free/Drama Free
Responsible and kind-natured
Patient
Good organizer and able to multitask
Energetic with a sense of humor and positive attitude
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Schedule Options: 24 hours a day 7 days a week or
Five days a week
or
Two days a week
Schedule will rotate so both caregivers can have days off.
Room and board included.
