We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant/Caregiver to provide support and assistance for the care of our Special Needs Son. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient and lots of energy! Knowledge of ABA therapy a plus.
Duties
- Assist parent with daily activities to include personal care, meal assistance, acccompany parent to medical visits, travel to community park and play& play area. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in special needs home care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of working with people with disabilities
- Understanding of social work principles for effective client support
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Must pass background check
