Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and caring Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to friendliness, reliability, teamwork and promoting dental hygiene from an early age.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist in delivering high-quality dental care to children of all ages.
Establish rapport with young patients and parents to create a comfortable and positive dental experience.
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for dental procedures.
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
Manage and update patient records accurately according to HIPPA guidelines.
Perform Sealants and Coronal Polish (RDA).
All other duties of DA or RDA necessary to accomplish our mission.
Requirements:
Certified Dental Assistant (DA) or completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
RDA license (for RDA positions)
Current CPR certification.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
