Merchandise Inspection Process (Lebec, Ca.)
Compensation: $17.00 to 20.00 dlls per hour
Monday through Friday, with a schedule from 1:30 pm to 22:00 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the International Shipping / Receiving.
1.-Inspect and approve product compliance to enter Mexico before product is loaded
2.-Support all international-related shipping needs
3.-Maintain established Shipping / Receiving procedures
4.-Maintain communication with other employees in our different offices in Mexico.
5.-Identify the merchandise physically through the part number with the support of packing list.
6.-Identify the merchandise that is subject to any non-tariff regulation or restriction and that permit is not available to segregate this merchandise form the shipment, Knowledge in NOMs (Official Mexican Rules).
7.-Counting the merchandise only of one box for each of the different parts numbers, to verify the quantity to be shipped and inferring that the other boxes contain the same quantity as the physically audited one.
8.-Take photographs of the commercial information labels of the products to be imported.
9.-Inform the documentation team in Manzanillo, Mexico about the findings and results of the previous one.
Required Skills and Abilities
Bilingual (English-Spanish) absolutely required, intermediate fluency is also accepted.
Must be familiar and feel comfortable with the use of basic computer software.
Ability to produce professional documents, including spreadsheets, correspondence and e-mail
